Welcome to Free Soul Music Saturday. We pick through the best of the internet’s free Soul Music offerings so you don’t have to.
This week was, in a word, daunting. Especially when it came to Beat Tapes and EPs. I swear, the music started flooding my inbox last Saturday night and didn’t quit until this Friday afternoon. I recommend checking out each and every EP listed this week and make sure you look at my listening list this week, as there’s probably a lot of stuff I glossed over and didn’t give a full listening. I had to be more picky about what I put in the Spotify playlist, so this week, all you get is full quality.
This is the probably the LAST Free Soul Music Saturday of the year, as the rest of the month I’ll be highlighting the best of 2011. We’ll just have to play it by ear. If something is irresistible, I will still post it to my Twitter.
